LAKE FOREST – Mothers Trust Foundation’s 19th Annual Betty Bash will be held on Friday, October 20 at the Gorton Community Center in Lake Forest. Every “Betty” (defined as all women who want to make a positive difference in the life of a child) is invited to join us for the most fun all-women’s dance party in Lake County!
This year’s theme, “Lady in Red,” came about after local artist Rene Romero Schuler generously donated 18 limited edition archival prints, which will be available for purchase and are exclusive to the event. The original painting titled “Audette” is a figure of a woman wearing red.
“There are many charitable organizations out there, but those that help women and children are nearest and dearest to my heart. As someone who was once a runaway and homeless, I can honestly tell you organizations like Mothers Trust Foundation really make a difference and I am happy and proud to now be a part of it,” replied Rene Schuler when asked about her generous donation to this year’s Betty Bash and her commitment to Mothers Trust Foundation over the years.
The evening also will feature delicious food donated by local venues, signature drinks, lively music, dancing, a wine pull and the opportunity to win a framed print of “Audette” and raffle baskets valued at over $500 each.
We are grateful to those already sponsoring this year’s event: The Garrett Family Foundation, BMO Harris Bank, Francesca and Liam Connell, Julian Grace Foundation, Lake Forest Bank & Trust, Libertyville Bank & Trust, Trude S.
