LAKE FOREST – Lake Forest College will host two fall open houses for high school students, transfer students, and their families from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 9, and on Friday, Nov. 10.
Guests will be greeted by members of the admissions staff and current students, enjoy light refreshments, and learn more about the College. Students will break from the group and experience firsthand the classroom environment at Lake Forest, as faculty members from several academic disciplines lead an academic session.
Parents, families, and guests will get an in-depth look at the college search and admissions process, the Lake Forest College application process, and scholarship, aid, and financing a college education.
Later, students will have the opportunity to ask questions of a panel of current students in a no-adults-allowed session. Meanwhile, parents, families, and guests will hear from current faculty, staff, and students about what they and their student can expect during their time as a Forester.
Everyone will explore the College’s wooded 107-acre campus during student-guided tours. Students interested in speaking with an athletics coach will have the opportunity to meet with them during check in and at the end of the day.
