The North Suburban YMCA welcomed over 650 guests to its annual “Party at the Y” summer celebration on August 17, a record crowd for this fun-filled community tradition. This year’s event featured numerous local restaurants and businesses offering free food, promotions, and prizes. Children enjoyed bounce houses, face painting, art activities, and fire truck tours conducted by the Northbrook Fire Department. State Senator Julie Morrison joined in the celebration, greeting constituents and helping pass out water bottles.
