Lake Forest Academy’s Chris Harris and two Lake Forest High School players — point guards Justin McMahon and Delaney Williams — have been selected to play in the 8th Annual Lake County Senior Shootout, which will be held at Waukegan High School on April 20.
The girls game will start at 6 p.m. The boys will tip off at 8 p.m.
The event also will feature a co-ed three-point shootout and slam dunk competition.
McMahon, who averaged 12.4 points per game and shot 41 percent from three-point range (52-124), will play for the East Team and join forces with Antioch’s Reece Eldridge; North Chicago’s Simeon Henton and Terrell Grier; Warren’s Declan O’Connor and Juwan Perry; Carmel Catholic’s Brian Julien and John Barr; Libertyville’s Harrison Bach; Lakes’ Kyle Rohr and Ian Haflinger; Lake Zurich’s Michael Bens; and Zion-Benton’s Jaalen Ray, Rod Henry-Hayes and DaMarquis Henry.
Harris is one of the headliners for the West Team. He will team up with Grayslake Central’s Sidney Goodman; Stevenson’s Justin Smith and Willie Herenton; Waukegan’s Carson Newsome, DeShawn Davidson, Khalen Mays and Kendarius Woods; Grant’s John Kerr and Ben Kusiak; Round Lake’s Zach Kuligoski; Vernon Hills’ Chris Mariella; Wauconda’s Jarod Stonis and Kyle Drobnik; and Grayslake North’s Jamal Thomas.
In the girls game, Williams will be a member of the East Team. Her teammates include Stevenson’s Ashley Richardson and Madison Wicklund; Vernon Hills’ Becky Bahlmann; Warren’s Rebekah Foley; Lakes’ Natalie Lacopetti and Sarah Zellmann; Round Lake’s Emily Martinez; Mundelein’s Sarah Ouimet; and Wauconda’s Katie Rossetti.
The West Team rosters Zion-Benton’s Quay Short; Waukegan’s Bri’Elle Johnson; Grayslake Central’s Lindsay Brust and Amanda Larson; Antioch’s Erika Gallimore, Amy Reiser and Ashley Reiser; Libertyville’s Claire Keefe, Riley Weis and Caroline Frea; and Carmel Catholic’s Daija Pruitt.
