What has happened? It is a sad commentary when people cannot feel comfortable stepping out to express their viewpoints in a civil and non-inflammatory way.
From our national election right on down to city/village government elections the current outwardly politically involved have made a sham out of the voting process. It is a privilege to vote and to vote your conscience.
This agressive, overbearing attitude I see is disappointing. I believe in freedom of speech but there reeds to be tolerance for opposing viewpoints. I am an independent voter. I have observed the elections for many years, having moved to Lake Forest in 1948. Never have I seen such disrespect.
