GLENCOE – This January, North Shore Congregation Israel will host a one-time indoor winter Farmers Market. This market will provide small, local farm producers with additional venues to extend their income beyond the growing season. This market offer consumers an opportunity to purchase FRESH PRODUCE, MEAT, SOUP, HONEY, BAKED GOODS, SALSA, EGGS, TEA, SAUCES, PRESERVES AND BEAUTY PRODUCTS.
The markets promote sustainable farming methods and economic justice for regional farm families, encourage wholesome eating, and support the building of relationships between producers and consumers.
