The leadership of CARE (Citizens Actively Renewing Education) would like to thank all citizens who are interested in serving North Shore School District 112 as Board of Education members. CARE understands the enormous impact that Board members have on our community, and we know that the most-effective leaders are those who lead by example, who help build consensus, and who base their decision on real data and meaningful community input.
The CARE endorsement process invites all candidates to provide answers to a set of questions for consideration by a community panel. This panel will be comprised of community members drawn broadly from District 112. Candidate responses should be submitted in electronic form to email@example.com by 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 8, 2016.
CARE will publish its endorsement(s) by December 11th. At the same time, we will publish the questions, responses we received to the questionnaire, as well as the names of all panel participants. CARE hopes this open process will further increase candidate engagement, community awareness, and voter participation in the April 4, 2017 election.
