YWCA Lake County’s board of directors recently named Treopia Cannon as chief executive officer.
“We are excited that Treopia will be leading the organization during this next part of our journey,” said Board Chair Andrea Danks. “Her strong background in financial services combined with extensive contacts in the Lake County’s business community, make her the perfect person to lead the organization.”
Cannon has served as a Senior Executive with over 20 years of progressive experience in the Banking Industry and over 15 years of dedicated service as an officer in numerous Non-Profit Boards and Community Outreach Organizations. In her most recent role, she served as Senior Vice-President for a bank with responsibility for business development and retention, providing solutions to commercial banking clients.
While she possesses strong business acumen, these accomplishments pale in comparison to her passion for YWCA Lake County and its mission.
Cannon officially began her duties as CEO on July 18.
The YWCA Lake County would like to thank the executive search committee that included Senator Melinda Bush, who diligently supports the organization and its constituents along with former State Representative Kathy Ryg.
