LAKE FOREST – Adia Benson, a culinary designer and newcomer to Lake Forest, will soon compete against other chefs on Alton Brown’s Cutthroat Kitchen. The episode will air on The Food Network at 9 p.m. CT on October 4.
By day Benson develops new food and beverages at an innovation consulting firm in Chicago. While not at work, she spends most of her time designing food for parties and events.
The episode, “Sabootage 2: Electric Boo-Galoo,” is a Halloween special. The Food Network described it as:
“The chefs make wraps that only a mummy could love. Then, a ghoul-ash challenge turns gruesome. Finally, one chef slams the front door on another in an all-out candy competition.” It’s hosted by Alton Brown, with Simon Majumdar as judge.
Tune in and find out who wins!
