FIGURE SKATING EXHIBITION, SLAP SHOT CONTEST & BARREL JUMPING COMPETITION
The Lake Forest Parks & Recreation Department and American Legion Post #264 & Auxiliary are hosting a free family event on Sun., Feb. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lake Forest College Ice Arena. The event features skate races, a figure skating exhibition, slap shot contest, and barrel jumping competition. Refreshments will be available courtesy of the Auxiliary.
CHAMBER MUSIC RECITALS AT RAVINIA
On Sun., Feb. 17, students from the award-winning Midwest Young Artists (MYA) chamber music program will perform two back-to-back recitals of classical works. This event is free to attend and open to the public. The performances will take place from 2:30 to 3:30 and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the MYA Center in Highwood, 878 Lyster Rd., Highwood. RAGTIME JAZZ BAND

GOD OF CARNAGE
Citadel Theatre presents the Tony award-winning comedy, God of Carnage, running through March 10. Performances are on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m., and Wednesday matinees at 1 p.m. on Feb. 20 and March 6.
